12 ADDITIONAL COUNTRIES INVITED TO THE NEXT
EUKANUBA WORLD CHALLENGE
Eukanuba, the global premium dog food company, triumphant on the tremendously successful and acclaimed 2007 inaugural Eukanuba World Challenge, announces that an additional 12 countries, bringing the total to 52 countries, have been invited to participate in the 2008 Challenge.
The event scheduled to take place on 13th & 14th December will be hosted at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championships at Long Beach, California, USA.
Anne van Merkensteijn, Global Associate Marketing Director for Eukanuba says: ”As a worldwide company we are delighted to be in a favourable position to announce an additional 12 countries who have been invited to participate in this unique competition.
The proven success of Eukanuba working with the AKC, the FCI and the National Kennel Clubs' has resulted in a cohesive relationship with excellent benefits and opportunity to the breeders, owners and their champion dogs. I am extremely enthusiastic about the Eukanuba World Challenge. It promises to be another exciting year as each of the participating countries selects and announce their Top Winning Dog who will represent their country at this prestigious event”.
The National Kennel Club from each participating country will be responsible for the selection process, or in a few cases according to clear rules allowing for an independent selection of the Top Dog.
The European Section will be divided into two divisions, this along with the Asia and Oceania and the Americas sections, will give the four world renowned judges (one for each section) to each select three winners. Hans Muller, President of the FCI will select the ultimate winner of the title Eukanuba World Challenge Champion, the runner up and the first runner up.
